HOTEL AMSTERDAM - SCHIPHOL
A stone's throw from Amsterdam-Schiphol and in the immediate vicinity of Royal FloraHolland is Green Park Aalsmeer, a former greenhouse area which is being transformed into a high-quality business park with a mix of work and leisure functions.
Central to Green Park, DCD is developing a 500-room hotel for a globally operating hotel chain. The design of the hotel is by Wiel Arets Architects and refers to the characteristic silhouette of the greenhouses that used to stand here. The dual branded hotel for business travelers as well as tourists, has several restaurants, bars, meeting facilities and an excellent parking facility. The grand opening is planned for 2022.
HOTEL DE VESTE IN SCHIEDAM
Schiedam is in full development. The realization of the Euroscoop Cinema & Leisure Center and the start-up of the large-scale area development A20 zone Schiedam put this city in the spot lights.
Hotel de Veste, located at highway A20 - Schiedam Center, has a great location in an economically powerful area. The walking distance to Schiedam Center, the proximity to Rotterdam Center and the Schiedam and Rotterdam ports and a public transportation hub give this location a triple A status.
The Hotel De Veste, to be developed by DCD, is located next to the Euroscoop Cinema & Leisure Center and offers space for around 300 hotel rooms and rooms for extended stay.
AREA DEVELOPMENT HOLLAND PARK IN DIEMEN
Holland Park is a newly built residential neighborhood: urban living in a park-like environment with lots of green and water. It is an easily accessible area. Not only because of its location 10-15 minutes from the heart of Amsterdam, but also because of its affordability. A total of 3,000 residential units are being built in the area, supplemented by approximately 7,500 m2 of shops, restaurants and services. There will be a large diversity of homes for starters, smaller households, expats, commuters and families. This unique living environment was designed by architect and urban planner Sjoerd Soeters and is inspired by Java Island in Amsterdam and Sluseholmen in Copenhagen.
In addition to the development and realization of the apartments, the client Bergwijkstadspark BV also realizes the public area. Water features, quays, bridges and new avenues form the new public space that - after construction - will be transferred to the municipality of Diemen. The construction of the first homes started in September 2015.
Holland Park is being developed for Bergwijkstadspark BV by Bouwaccent BV and Snippe Projecten BV. The shareholders of DCD are also participants in the development of Holland Park.
MAASHAEGHE PARK AREA DEVELOPMENT IN BOXMEER
The former hospital site in Boxmeer is being transformed into a high-quality residential housing area with the name Maashaeghe Park. The park, located a stone's throw from the center of Boxmeer, is a special enclave in a beautiful landscape setting in the middle of the Maasheggen nature reserve and close to the Maas.
Designed with great respect for the landscape, Maashaeghe Park offers a comfortable, safe and park-like living environment with extremely stylish houses. Future residents can choose from a large number of options to organize and expand the houses according to their own insight. Offered are also generous, self-building plots or beautifully designed houses.
Maashaeghe Park is a development of Maashaeghe Properties CV in collaboration with Dutch City Development.
HERTOG STAETE IN NIJMEGEN
Hertog Staete is built on an archeologically very important place in Nijmegen. Roman foundations and a medieval city wall were found during the construction work. The design of the new building creatively incorporates the archaeological remains and the reconstructed parts of the city wall and gate. The building consists of a fully underground parking garage, commercial spaces on the ground floor and a plinth with 44 luxury free-sector rental apartments above it.
Hertog Staete was developed for Renschdael Group. The free sector rental apartments have been sold to an institutional investor.
